Becoming a Creator of Home

By Amber Litzinger

Call me naive, but I believe that literal, actual lives can be changed from how we create… as in how we design, fine tune, and set the atmosphere of our homes.

That probably seems like a big claim.

Yet, when one person in a HOME makes healthy changes to their patterns & habits of living it changes how they act and react everywhere they go and in everything they do. Then, they begin to share new & more healthy habits & patterns with the other people in their home, or the people that they interact with in the world - whether by example or by teaching.

For some it may just be changing moments in their days. Smiling and greeting the coffee gal in the drive thru gives her a happier demeanor that she presents to everyone ordering coffee that day and they get their happy juice and a smile to walk into their next meeting with. See?  It keeps going.

In other places, it will inspire actual physical & real change - practicing more patience while driving means you are less stressed when you arrive home and you don’t bite your spouses head off, and because you don’t, they don’t retreat when you ask them about the honey-do list and you get things accomplished without having to nag.

Or how about you start to identify your home’s bad schedule struggle in the mornings. Instead, you set new patterns for everyone involved, you implement affirming tools so that everyone walks out the door ready to face their day mostly rested, but hopeful, and work places and schools receive happy, ready to function, humans.

Yes, When we roll out changes in our home like this far enough, I 100% believe it changes our world!

So how do we start making our own healthy changes?  Start by asking yourself 3 questions:

  1. Who am I now?  Name 5 physical traits & 5 character traits

  2. Who do I want to be in 5 years?

  3. What am I doing to get there?  What needs to change to get from who you are now to

The changes you want to see in 5 years.
